Great Windows 11 Pro computer – I’ve had this unit for a few days now. I performed all the windows updates with no issues. I then installed a whole bunch of developer software: SQL Server 2019 developer edition, SQL Server Mgmt Studio, Visual Studio 2022, VS Code, SnagIt, 7-Zip, VLC player, ahd even Vipr anti virus software….This PC is amazing on a regular full HD monitor. It may not be suitable for taxing gaming but it seems to lack nothing. It comes with Windows 11 Pro installed already!! Create a recovery media so you won’t lose the OS.

Green G3 5100 – Nice little box for the price. Have bought three of these and have had no issues. Great for a Plex server. Plays GTA V on lowest settings without lag, but obviously not made for gaming. Regular programs and office applications perform very well. Highly recommend bang for your buck. There is only one ram slot which comes occupied. The only storage upgrade option is to add on a 2.5 hdd or 2.5 ssd. Storage upgrade was simple to perform. If you want to reinstall Windows 10 or 11 make sure to grab drivers from their website. There were no drivers listed for the Green G3, but the drivers from the Green G2 seem to work just fine. Have not tried Linux, just Win 10 and 11.

Awesome minipc with great specifications, can run Minecraft and other light gaming – I received this minipc this morning. It had Windows 11 Pro installed and I ran updates on it that took a couple of hours (Microsoft servers). I then “debloated” Windows so that it was running on the bare minimum that it needs to run. I then installed a lot of software over a variety of types and did some testing. I installed Linux Subsystem for Windows and it ran fine with no issues. Where I ran into my first snag was when I tried to install Android Subsystem for Windows, it claimed that the processor wasn’t compatible (No problem). I installed Blender, Sketchup, LibreOffice, Minecraft (for testing) and an assortment of other light games, as well as a ton of other miscellaneous software for my CCTV, novel writing, etc. I was shocked when Minecraft loaded and ran very smoothly without a single stutter, I also rendered a small scene in Blender and again it rendered quick and smooth. Though this thing isn’t going to be able to render large complex scenes as you need a dedicated graphics card. I tried sketchup and the quality was low but passable. Everything I have thrown at it has just worked and it is running nice and cool with no glitching. I am very impressed. I am going to ultimately put Fedora on it, but I wanted to give Windows 11 a quick test. As for the hardware, I ran a test with HWINFO and the hardware specs came back spot on to the description. The main drawback of the hardware is the Memory is single channel but because you get 16GB you really don’t notice that much. I highly recommend this computer especially if you know how to slim down Windows to optimize it or are going to put Linux on it.

Mighty Mini’s – I have purchased several mini-PCs in the past few years. This one is a different brand I’m trying. Since this is only day one, a comprehensive review cannot be done, but I can speak of the purpose & benefit of a mini PC. I use these minis as secondary systems mostly purposed for playing movies (I’m a huge movie buff and I always have movies playing 24/7). That’s all I use them for 99% of the time. My first few minis only had 4 GBs of RAM, which I don’t recommend. With only 4 gigs you can basically load Windows and that’s it. I could however run the Movies & TV app successfully. (just remember to reboot often) This mini was the lowest priced mini with 16 GBs of RAM, which gives me a lot more room to use as a secondary PC–for web browsing, email, PDFs, Word, etc. I have half a dozen of these little minis and just love them. Just keep in mind of their limitations, but you can easily & cheaply expand your home network; & you can’t beat their tiny footprint. I would highly recommend these for kids PCs as well.

Works great – My old laptop died and I purchased this to replace it. WOW!!! This boots up so quick and connected to all my other parts without a hitch. It is so portable that I can move it from room to room, wherever I have a TV or monitor. It could even go with me on trips and take up less space than my laptop. The blue tooth feature makes it easy to use my portable keyboard. If I need to buy another I would do it without a second thought.
