Works great as a reader – I got it to read out of print old books. I have only used it lightly for other functions. Screen looks great for the price to me. I was surprised with how loud and clear it was. The backcamera lense was scratched badly using just one day without a case on a formica table top. I don’t suggest you use it without a case. Plastic seems moderately strong but the semi gloss finish scratches easily. The rear camera is garbage, as expected. I don’t care aboit any of it. It reads wonderfully with a bright, clear screen that isn’t washed out by ambient light. If I need to get up and don’t want to leave a book while I do other things the speakers sound great and I can hear it in audio mode wonderfully. I am happy with it. Because I knew what I was buying and what I wanted from it fit it’s parameters. Reviews complaining about gaming ability and poor battery life when gaming aren’t being realistic. They needed to spend $600 more.

Does the job I need for the price. – It is a little slow sometimes but for what I paid for, this tablet is pretty good. Battery life is decent, just remember to click the button to put it in sleep mode. It comes with a little case and flap to cover the screen which I really liked. You will have to purchase a screen protector separately. Also comes with a booklet on how to use it and a charger/cable. It has all the apps you need if you go through Google Play Store. I use this for my business to check clients out. It has Bluetooth so you can sync up other devices with it; I was able to hook up my card reader very easily. The speaker is pretty loud. I had to play around with it to make it go completely silent but if you want to use the speaker function, just be aware it is loud but also clear.
