No – I can properly review this laptop now that my son has used it numerous times for school. I bought this laptop when my son was in 3rd grade for digital learning days, he is now in 4th grade and we have had nothing but issues. The Webcam hardly works, he can barely complete his school assignments, it is extremely slow and constantly freezes to list a few flaws. I do not recommend this computer for school.

Regretfully it broke within a week – My son got this computer for his tenth birthday. He really loved it… For a week. Then regretfully his sister tickled him while he was on the couch. He dropped it from the couch to the floor and the touchscreen broke.

Good starter device – I bought this for my 3.5 year old after Samsung decided to end their kids+ application (which bricked the Samsung Kids tablet she had previously). Personally, if I had an older kid, I would get a Windows OS, but for my little one, I wanted to be able to load all the apps she had on her old device while introducing the mouse and keyboard.

I’d buy again – I bought for my 10 year old and she LOVES it. The only complaint that I have is that the battery life is not that long.

Lags but ok – If you want a fast little computer this isn’t it. It works and does everything we need for our homeschoolers. Another thing the speakers aren’t the best sounding quality. Kids don’t seem to mind.

What a deal, what a computer – Just received the new Tanoshi Scholar. It arrived earlier than what Amazon said it would! It’s a gift for my nephew and it’s the upgrade from the first Tanoshi 2-and-1. I opened it up and started setting it up, as an adult has to set it up, before handing it to the kid/child.
