Worked exactly for a year – I ordered this mouse for my laptop after beginning to work from home last year. I use it all day 5 days a week, so perhaps I used it more than it was intended. It began taking a lot of effort for it to respond to me. I would have to click something 2-4 times or press really hard for it to acknowledge me. I changed the battery, but it still poorly responded. I went to order another one and realized I was almost to the exact day that I had ordered it the first time. So the life expectancy is around 1 year if used daily for work. It is so affordable and convenient that it didn’t bother me to order another one.

It’s super quiet, which is great when she’s using it during class, and it doesn’t have an on/off button, which is good because sometimes she forgot to turn off her old mouse.
