One of the best brands for flash storage – I am very picky with tech brands. I also operate my own IT business. I always recommend Samsung among 2 other brands for flash storage. I have dozens of cards used for storage for things like Raspberry Pi, trail and dash cams as well as general portable storage. Most of my cards are Samsung and I’ve never had issues. Over the years my cards have survived Midwest winters and hot summers. Scanning the cards reveals almost no failures of the memory in used cards for years.

Used for a 3D printer and working flawlessly – The 3D printer that I bought came with an 8GB uSD card with a brand I’ve never heard of before. Within 1 week of use, the uSD card got corrupted on 3 separate occasions. It was incredibly frustrating so I immediately ordered this Samsung card instead. Guess what, it has been many weeks now and I haven’t a single issue to report!

Using in Dashcam – Works great! – I got this MicroSDX card to use in my Dash Cam. I’ve read it was better to use these high endurance cards. I think it’s worth it to buy one of these for a dash cam because I’d rather feel more confident in having it working if there’s ever an incident I need to make sure it got recorded.

Not a fast card – but fast enough. Hopefully lives up to its “endurance” claim – I’ve been using regular microSD cards (usually Samsung EVO Select) on dashcams and IP cameras. While they haven’t actually caused any issues, I thought I’d give this a try when I needed another card. I first tested it on my computer. The write speed for sustained transfer (typically what would be done for filling a card with video) is about 35 MB/s. Surprisingly, the read speed is also about 35 Mb/s – most cards have a much faster read speed. No errors during testing, of course (or this would be a 1 star review). Using it now on my Wyze indoor v3.

Seems to be working well with a Viofo A229 2 channel dashcam – Seems to be working well with a Viofo A229 2 channel dashcam. I figured the card get over written every 5 hours of dashcam running. The Viofo A229 is a 2k front and 2k rear dash cam. Each camera uses about a gig every 5 minutes. I have not has any card issues in the week of use. Other than being a micro SD card and not easy to handle with fat fingers it works fine and was a good price. I considered the 256G card, but can see the need to store that much video.

Great brand of Micro SD – I own several of these Micro SD cards and never had a problem. The card is in my doorbell camera outside and has held up great in all weather conditions. I was worried the extreme cold would cause the cards to stop working. So far they have worked in the most extreme conditions. Samsung stands behind their products and the pricing is competitive to the rest on the market.

Rated for 140,150 hours – So far so good! I haven’t had any issues adding to an outdoor 4k camera. According to the packaging, this should last about 16 years of 24/7 operation. Let’s hope that’s correct.
