I’m a big Samsung fan… but this is disappointing – I’ve been using Samsung phones for years, I’m a big fan. I like the operating system, the UI, etc. This tablet has of all that. And the screen is great, and the battery life is good. So, why only 3 stars?

Nice mid-range tablet. – I was looking for a device that gave me more viewable screen area than my Samsung Galaxy S8 phone, but was a bit more convenient to use than my laptop, and could be used to play DVD’s. Saw this one, price was acceptable, and online reviews tended toward positive. So…ordered this, a case, and a portable DVD player. Shipping was mildly worrisome, but was able to determine shipping delay was most likely due to inclement weather. Arrived in good shape, battery was at 52% charge, so I plugged it in and configured it to use local WiFi. Other than normal “teething pains” (screen can be unusually sensitive at times, and almost unresponsive at others, tends to change based on whether my hands are wet or not) it does everything I ask of it. Plays DVD’s (still working on getting past DRM) well, works nicely on social media. Only real issue is that a stock wall charger will take over 4 hours to bring the battery to full charge, and even with a 15 watt fast charger it’s reported to take upwards of 3 hours to charge. That said, it’ll handle 6+ hours of use on battery power alone, so a minor complaint at most. Overall, well pleased with the unit.
