This one was ok….. – Ignore the smudges . So they sent me a tablet from the UK so some of the apps were different I had to change the keyboards and I was able to redirect the internet and some sites from the UK to the United States. This battery definitely works so we’ll see how it goes. I might have to return it but other than that it came as expected, with just a few spots of wear and tear

They stand behind their product. – My hat is off to Amazon who makes buying online so painless and risk free. This is the third “renewed” tablet that I bought for a particular purpose. The first did not work at all. Amazon facilitated the return, no problem. I bought the second one from a different vendor and, because of an issue loading apps, it needed a factory reset. I then spent a lot of time with Samsung trying to get it to work only to be told they could not help me because it was a “renewed” product. I then tried Amazon who facilitated a return and replacement that was smooth and painless. I should have started there. Buying tech products online can be scary, but Amazon takes the fear and risk out of the process. I won’t hesitate to buy tech products through Amazon in the future.

Your basic 7″ Android tablet on Lollipop – If you are looking for a decent tablet for reading or web use, this is a great bargain. Not the fastest or the prettiest, but it does the basics as well as any other 7″ Android tablet out there for a lot less $$. I use mine primarily for reading, and use both a third party reader (Moon Reader Pro) and the Kindle app (which, even now, needs some features improved that are, of course, implemented much better on their own devices). Moko makes a nice case for it, but screen protectors are few and far between. This is my second one, as the screen shattered on my first when it was inadvertently knocked from my hand and went flying. My biggest gripe with this device is there is no indicator light to show that it is charging (red) or charged (green) when connected to the charger, as is standard with all of Samsung’s phones. Why they couldn’t add this feature is a mystery to me, but there it is.Lastly, know that this tablet will not upgrade beyond Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop), but again, not a deal killer for me.
