Worked Like a Charm – I bought this AV adapter because I was doing a presentation to a local organization using my iPad and Keynote. The event space needed a HDMI connection to its equipment. I was a bit nervous because this adapter cost less than $20. When it arrived I found it to be very nicely packaged. I immediately tested it at home and it worked without a flaw. At the event, I ran a long HDMI cable from my iPad to the window’s laptop. It immediately connected to my iPad. The presentation went off without any problems.

Super!!! – Works super!!!! Much less expensive than the Apple brand adapter that does the same exact thing. Value for the functionality is superb. I get a very high resolution on my Samsung 4k TV, where I actually get more screen real-estate instead of just blowing the image up. Videos played through HDMI to my television look spectacular.

Check your devices – I am only going to dock 1 star simply because this does not work on the devices that it claims. The other reviews stated this but I still decided to give it a try. I have a MacBook Pro 2019 that I tried to connect to my TV. I have a Sceptre 4k TV. The devices they listed do not include the 2019, but the item description at the top states 2019 compatible. It worked for a few seconds then lost connection. I tried troubleshooting and nothing worked. Wasn’t worth the trouble. I did a quick and easy return for a credit, another reason to give this a decent review. The quality of the material and everything else about the physical product was fine. Just be aware of your devices that you are trying to connect. If it doesn’t work, just start the return process. No big deal!

Quality bad, not working properly to the point that is about to damage my iPad port. – The product is of bad quality after one month use it is not working well because there is a cable broken or a piece not proper connect which as a tendency anyone would try to see if by readjusting the cable position it would work. Well, this can damage the port of my iPad and this would be an expensive cost!!! I can returned it but then again i have to wait til they send one back and then I have send the one that i got first. It’s really an inconvenience in every aspect.

Works Decent at 30hz – This is an inexpensive USB-C to HDMI adapter that has worked for the 6 months I’ve had it so far. I have used it for a Nintendo Switch, and a low end gaming laptop. I never noticed any issues with the switch, but the laptop definitely is pushing the use case of the adapter. I will get random lines that go across the screen from time to time, sometimes two. It doesn’t really affect the gameplay, it just looks like there is a slight break in the image. If you are in a very small budget, or don’t care to have the highest quality image, it has worked fine for me. If you want a higher quality experience, spend the extra money on a trusted brand.
