      Don’t switch to lesser quality! – This works! Don’t fiddle with any substitute!

      Cartridge was probably OK, but printer error messaging made me change it too early – We had this printer for a few months… the starter toner cartridge only lasted a couple of weeks (expected), so we were using our first HP toner cartridge, and the printer quit working. In stepping through the trouble shooting, we took notes of the various error codes — VERY confusing. Started with load paper, then paper jam, then reload paper. Then we got an error code telling us that the cartridge was empty, so I put in the new cartridge that I had on hand — still no printing.

My last printer I used Linkyo brand. That worked just as well as the name brand HP. My next ink purchase will be with Linkyo. We all need to save money when we can. Why pay double the price? Sorry HP, but this will be my last purchase of ink from you.
