I ordered a pre-owned device and it came with the previous owners information still on the device. – This should be a warning to anyone that trades in their device and assumes their information has been wiped and the device has been reset (it has not). I did call to complain and return the item, but they did not seem phased that the device was not factory reset before sending to another customer.

A portable Windows computer / tablet for light work – I was expecting to receive this Surface Go 2 for quite some time, and I’m really pleased with it so far. This is the latest model with the M3 processor and the 8GB of RAM, and with the addition LTE slot. Still, it’s not powerful and does not come to replace any workhorse workstation – for this I have a dedicated PC at home. I chose the Surface Go 2 for portability when I’m on the go and away from my main computer, and also because it’s a tablet that runs Windows that gives me the freedom of Windows, and the touch and pen support for working on my Windows software and tools; things that I couldn’t have done with my iOS and Android devices.

This thing go brrrr! – I’m writing this review today on my new Surface Go 2, just to test out the keypad’s real usability vs normal sized keyboards, and so far, I do notice the keys are closer together than on a normal keyboard. I’ve used the keyboard off and on before this, but this time should be a really good test of whether the keyboard is usable on a professional level for extended typing.

Broken and shipped wrong processor – The tablet itself does not turn on and when it does it freezes and then crashes within 2 minute. Also I ordered the m3 version and on the box it says it is the pentium gold version (i cant check the system info cause it crashes or hangs before i can even attempt to check it directly in the tablet). Be extra careful ordering this seems fraudulent. Requested a refund immediately.

Product Defective on Arrival – Arrived not in original packaging, and upon boot up was clearly a package deal for a school or business that was being resold. Honestly, this is fine, though it would be better to not this in object description. Device wouldn’t hold a charge – inspection showed this is a ‘send in to Microsoft for repair’ issue, as system was not detecting battery.

    8. R. J (verified owner)

Unusable – Item did not have the CPU I chose in options. On top of this, it was so slow it couldn’t even load google chrome and crashed a couple times. Do NOT recommend buying this surface. You get what you pay for and the Surface 7+ is 10 times the machine this is for $800.

Misleading Product and Support – Bought this a month ago and could tell there was a problem right out of the box. Don’t understand how this company gets this type of rating. Misleading. Numerous problems with the product. Was never addressed by the company. Offered a replacement if I returned. Did that. Then once received on their end. Company simply canceled the order. Beware. No customer service.

Can not handle moderate use. – Low stress on the system ended up overheating and forcing shutdowns.
