Is a gift – Taking apart laptops to extend storage sure is a pain and this one isn’t quite different. Just remember 2 M.2 SSDs and no SATA if you want more than whatever storage on your C: drive

Excellent Value – 130w rtx 3080 is no joke. Pushes out great fps. Thermals are good too. Like the understated black mat look.

Good gaming machine but suffers from – Bought this laptop four months ago. Was very happy with it until the GPU fan gradually started rattling to the point of seizure. Ok, no problem. Got the replacement part with the same part number, and I thought that was the end of it. But no. Within a month of use, the new fan also starts rattling. The most infuriating aspect of this is the fact that these fans are not serviceable. As far as I can tell, taking the blower portion is impossible, which means that you can’t even lubricate the bearing if you wanted to.

Good Gaming laptop – So far so good, getting 165 FPS on some of the newest games. That RTX 3080 really has some power to it and its not a Max Q. This is still a budget gaming laptop so when you can upgrade the RAM and SSDs. It has two M2 slots for up to 4TB total. The screen is one of the better features too, very good viewing angles brightness and color. Speaker are lacking but they are compact. Still better than my last MSI Steel series. Even has a fan turbo mode to draw out that heat with lots of heat pipes and heat sink. Very simple to disassemble to clean and upgrade.
