Portable and smooth video streaming – I was looking for a budget pc solution for my store and got this KAMRUI mini PC with 8GB RAM and 128GB SSD. I gotta said the price was right for me. And to my surprise, it works surprisingly well. It is running on Win 10 and is able to support smooth 4K resolution. The video is streaming smoothly. It works both on 2.4G and 5G wireless networks. It weighs less than 1 lb but has 2X USB 3 and 2 USB 2 ports. I would highly recommend getting a wireless keyboard combo for a better experience. Over, I’m happy with what I paid and got.

I took a chance on this. It was a great purchase. Do understand that this is NOT a fast or powerful computer. If you need something for day-to-day use, look somewhere else. This is a slow one. However, using it as a Plex server, it shines! It is tucked away in the corner of my room. It hardly makes any noise. And it works just as well as my gaming laptop for serving movies and shows.

I finally decided I had enough with youtube ads every 6 or 7 minutes and needed to figure out a way to block them. I tried a dedicated ad blocking box and custom DNS servers but neither did anything to block the ads that were shown on youtube. For years I had always run HTPCs but when I bought my house with my wife I just got a bunch of Rokus to make life simple so I decided to purchase this little guy.
