Decent machine while it is working – I have this mini PC running for almost three month now. Overall impression is not bad. The performance is more than adequate for it’s primary usage of viewing live HD broadcast using the Chrome browser. It works fine until two days ago when it simply crashed and reboot in the middle of streaming. The reboot failed with a message “check media”. It entered the BIOS and the SSD did not show up. Turned out the m.2 STA 3 SSD had gone bad. I bought a replacement SSD. The box is working fine again. The vendor agreed to refund the cost of the replacement. I am waiting for the refund. Besides this reliability issue, the other issue I had is some times the box could not power up properly. It stuck at “Beelink …” message. The way to get out was to unplug the Ethernet cable and power up again. Apparently Beelink knew about this defect and had a label on the box as a hint.

I’ve never rated so fast! – This product was ridiculous easy to setup and literally worked flawlessly out of the box. The RAM can be upgraded to 16GB and m.2 up to 2TB! I’ve not upgraded components yet so it’s sitting at 8GB RAM and 256gB m.2; the upgrade process looks really easy though.

Plenty of power for productivity – I bought this so that I could remote in (using Remote Desktop) to this PC from my Mac. Rather than dial into the company VPN on my Mac (and expose all of my personal data there), I sign the PC onto the VPN and work on the PC through the Remote Desktop app on my Mac. This gives me peace of mind as a full time work-from-home employee and keeps my Mac running a full speed. No issues whatsoever with speed on the PC and Windows 11 runs great. I have not tried (and know it would be futile) to download games, but for productivity (Citrix Workspace, Edge, etc), it works perfectly.

Small and cheap. – The computer is small and cheap. I use it to stream video and I keep it inside a cabinet. It makes very little noise and it’s fast for office work. I haven’t tried playing video games on it, but I suppose it can be used to play retro game emulators.

Worth the chance – Super easy to upgrade the memory. I’m using it for school and it’s just as good as a expensive laptop. I have the “fruit” brand but this little guy is my favorite and I don’t like windows. I offered to get my high schooler a fruit mini but she was this one. It’s easy to hid too

Little monster! – This thing has exceeded my expectations for a mini media server, running Plex and handling sonarr, radarr, lidarr, and sabnzb wonderfully. I’ll eventually be swapping over to jellyfin and adding overseer via docker. Great value.

Maybe I should have gotten the 128GB version if I knew it was going to replace it anyway? – Bought as a mini-server and download box (as well as a computer TV for video and Steam streaming) and the basic hardware pulls this off just fine with plenty of ports that all work, while still being low power. Not sure why you’d buy a low power Intel CPU for gaming otherwise, they’re not designed for that at all.
