So far I love this laptop! – $1800 is a lot, way more than I was planning on spending. However, 32g of RAM and 2 TB of unified disk space AND has nVidia RTX external graphics is pretty damn good. Can this thing game? Depends really. It does a very good job playing mediocre games like war thunder and ESO, but I don’t think I can recommend this if you are trying to play anything with super high requirements. If gaming is what you primarily need then go with a cheaper gaming LT. The reason this is a good fit for me is the weight (traveling), the battery (usually a solid 8-12 hours on battery saver mode with fans turned to quiet mode, and the size of the 16 inch screen. I don’t feel like I need to bring an external monitor with this guy. As I am writing this review this LT is telling me I have 9 hours of batt life left and its at 60%. Typing on this is a bit funky since the num pad is on the right which shifts the keys to the left, so that will take time to get used to. The one thing that surprised me is that this thing actually has the integrated GPU that comes with the intel i7 and also the external RTX 2050. This makes this very ideal since the RTX is only utilized when gaming or high intense programs like affinity photo. This is what I think keeps the battery so long when just browsing the web. When you are gaming while on battery you can tell the RTX draws way more power and shifts to a 2-3 hour estimate, but hey, who is gaming without their computer plugged in right?
