Beware of Warranty – After 35 days in my possession, the known issue of screen illumination loss began. Lenovo will NOT replace a unit, just offer a repair…. If you are willing to wait 7-10 BUSINESS days turnaround time. But first you have to wait for a shipping box to arrive, and then get it to them in Texas. So, long story short, I’ll be without my IdeaPad for 2-3 weeks. They should just replace the unit and then refurbish the old one and resell as such. Most of us cannot do without a computer for such a long time! Ridiculous. I do not recommend Lenovo for their crappy forced repair wait time.

Perfect for Mom – My mom is an active retiree who uses her PC to create content; largely PowerPoint and Word docs. She also browses the web and streams video / audio, and she LOVES this PC. It’s fast. Huge screen, which makes it easier for her to see. Boots up super fast. Has touch screen.
