Charge doesn’t last long – I keep forgetting to plug this in at night and I frequently end up having to plug it in during the day as a result. Even when I do plug it in during the day, if I’m using it a lot, I may need to recharge it again in the evening. I do like not having to replace batteries, but having to plug it in while I’m using it because it’s stopped responding – I may as well have a corded mouse anyway. I do not get more than one day’s use per charge, it must be plugged in at least once a day. This is on the middle mode, not running the light all the time.

I will report back if any issues, but my experience is go where you find the most reviews, and not the most expensive items. It is true you often get what you pay for, but mice are one of the exceptions. This required me to use the dull metal side of my mouse pad instead of the dark plastic side. It is very light and smooth. It is a little longer and lower that some mice, but it is comfortable in my hand.

Instructions are wonky, but if you’re patient, you will figure it out if your laptop is like mine. – Took me a while to figure out that with my system, i have to put the little white insert that is in the mouse, into the drive on my laptop. Then leave it there. I try to remember to switch off the mouse, to conserve. I’ve had this for a month or more, and it appears to keep itself charged. And I wouldn’t try removing the white insert from my drive–it’s super hard to do, and so far, not necessary. If I have to, I’d use a pliers instead of bare fingers, just to keep equal pressure on opposite sides.

Works well, but Scroll wheel is stiff. – Mouse set up easily, works well, nice size for my hand (women’s size med) and it’s easy to pack in my laptop bag for trips. I like the light up feature because I live in a small log cabin in Montana that isn’t well lit so it’s easy to see. I’ll use it until it dies or I kill it (I’m pretty rough on mice), but I won’t buy it again because the scroll wheel takes quite a bit of effort to move. I’m a 50 yr old retired production potter so my hands are pretty beat up from throwing pots for decades, so it might not be an issue for anyone else. After a couple weeks of use it seems to have loosened up a bit, but it still fatigues my hands when I use it for long. So if you’re hands are in great shape, for the money it’s a great deal.
