Sufficient for my needs – Great little PC, I’m not a heavey resource user, no gaming or heavy graphics requirements. This device is great for web surfing.

A number of issues spoil using this unit – I am using this system for a home theater. My first issue is with the HDMI output to my Denon AVR. I have to go through a number of gyrations to get the NUC and AVR to show a picture. I have to power up the AVR and projector first then the NUC to get HDMI display protocol sorted out. Even then I have to sometimes switch to another source and back and/or power cycle the AVR to get it to work. Looking online this appears to be a common issue with Intel NUCs and their advice seems to be contact the AVR manufacturer to update their system. I actually did this, sending back my AVR and had an upgrade done to HDMI board, made no difference. I have learned to live with this, but it is a pain.

Great Product – Fast and Small. – I’ve bought or built a lot of PCs over the years, usually big chunky things, but I love this tiny little fella. I’ve not experienced any noise or overheating. I got this one versus the slim one as I wanted to re-use an SSD I have, and it works perfectly. The connectivity is just about exactly what most folks might need, with 3 USB, Front and rear Thunderbolt 3 ports, 1 HDMI, 3.5mm audio, and a card reader. The best thing tho is the fast bluetooth – I now use wireless mouse and keyboard, among other things. It comes with a little adapter so you can hang it on the back of a monitor that has standard VESA holes, which makes it just disappear, along with most cables. Very happy!!
