Overall is perfect and works fast and well – Dislike , advertisement says it has SD card abilty but on this model same as advertised , Chromebook did not have a SD card slot on computer even though pictures show they have one .

HP customer support horrible – The laptop may have been fine. I will never know. I had trouble connecting to my WiFi (all other devices connected and working fine, re-entered password well over a dozen times and the password showed as correct) so I called HP customer service. It was very challenging to get through to them and I was disconnected the first time after having been on hold for over 30 minutes so had to go to the back of the line. When I was connected to CS again after another half hour the CS ( who spoke English as a second language fairly well) was pleasant but I was horrified at her suggestion: that I download to a USB drive a third party software (that had 3 out of 5 stars customer reviews) as a means of fixing the issue. I was most definitely not going to risk causing damage to the laptop for which I would be responsible by introducing software that was not HP made. I told the CS that courteously and hung up and initiated the return process. I will not be buying a HP product again because of the totally unacceptable customer support.

Great battery life but cheaply made – Poor build quality! The mousepad gets stuck when you click and both of the hinges need replaced because the screen wont stay in the upright position. Its only been used for about 60 days so its never going to last my son a full school year. HP warranty can repair since within 90 days but I have to ship it in and then my son won’t have a laptop for a few weeks, which means he can’t do his required school work.
