Very good laptop – Perhaps I’ve been spoiled by the battery life of a chromebook, which extends into days, but 13 hours seems to go by very quickly! A small vice. I required an upgrade from my old chromebook (purchased circa 2017). It served well for all my recreational purposes (streaming, writing in google docs, etc) but could not contain the full magnitude of Office products, or print! which, as a STEM major, makes up 80% of my academic career. And now, as I have just been accepted into my (hopefully first of two) doctoral program, decided it was worth the investment to buy this product.

Clunking sound from touchpad – Had purchase the ENVY 13 from a different retailed. The problem is that the touchpad make clunking sound when clicked. It is very different from the sound of other brands (Dell, Lenovo, and acer) and it draws attention of nearby people.
