Budget Gaming PC – I bought this because my laptop just would not cut it any longer and I needed something with a capable CPU and could be added to unlike a laptop. I placed a EVGA 750 BQ in its for starters. I had to use a 24 Pin to 6 Pin ATX Power Adapter Cable because of the weird motherboard. Then I added another Samsung DDR4 of the same type it comes with so there are no mix matched ram cards. For the GPU I added a Asus GTX 1650, had to unplug the front USB cable so it could slide into the pcie slot. Lastly I placed a Scythe CPU Air Cooler in it. This is like ordering a large soda in a small cup. The case cover is off and the PSU sits secure outside of it. Nothing is smashed or smooshed. There is plenty of air flow and I have no over heating issues. I play FFX14, World of Warcraft, and New World with no issues. No they are not on max settings, I play with medium to low settings and get great fps (60-200fps depending on game). CPU temp when playing New World max’s out at 40c with the new cooler. Frankenstein PC, but it works great.

Great Value with Quality Components – Received my HP EliteDesk 800 G2 SFF and was very pleased with the overall product. Very few cosmetic blemishes were apparent. The DVD drive was an RW model not just a ROM. The SSD was a Samsung 250GB 850 EVO. The installed RAM was a single stick of 8GB PC4-24000. The three open slots will allow me to easily upgrade the system to 32GB without having to get rid of the existing RAM. There was no bloatware to have to uninstall. I checked each and every USB, Display and Audio port and all were functional. I did find it strange that the SSD drive was mounted in the external card reader bay. I removed it and put it in the 2.5″ hard drive bay. I added a 3.5 hard drive for additional storage. My only complaint was that none of the special HP drive mounting screws were included in the case. To properly install the drives in the HP drive cages you really need those special screws. I ordered some on Amazon so I could securely remount my hard drives. Overall extremely happy with this purchase.

Great Value and Performance – Needed to replace my old NVR for the cameras and for the price of a decent NVR, I turned this machine with simply adding a 3TB NAS drive for clip backup and a $70 Blue Iris license and now have a very intelligent and powerful system for a total of about $300 bucks!!! Highly recommend for even base use. Good to put these units back to life especially considering a comparable machine in price NEW would be a base processor, windows Home vs pro, etc etc.
