So far so Great! – I just got it yesterday but I love it already. Super simple to set up. Looks Brand new. I got it renewed but it looks like it came straight out of the manufacturer’s box. I love that you can turn the screen so there is less scrolling you have to do. Just an all-around great buy!!!

So fast – I bought this for work at home. It took shine tweaking to get the correct download to work the special software needed since it is a chrome based product. But it is working so well. Looks brand new. I am in love. Good value for all it does and I’m still playing. Only flaw is the delivery. They left it at the front door to my building that is not locked near the mailboxes and I would have preferred my apt. Thankfully I was home and could grab it right away.

Literally no competition – There’s a lot to like about the HP Chromebase, but the biggest issue is that there’s nothing out there that really competes with it. There is a niche here that I believe will give users an experience they can’t have anywhere else. Sadly, many people will skip this computer as an option and I can’t blame them for that. You can do essentially everything this AIO can do on a Windows computer. What you can’t find anywhere else is a premium Chromebase product that looks good physically and gives you access to a mobile friendly orientation. I found myself really enjoying this with specific use cases. Most people need to operate everything on one system, so this might not work out for them. With that said, there are ChromeOS enthusiasts who really understand the immensely enjoyable and simplistic experience of the Google operating system. This is such a fun departure from the laptop space that I highly recommend for lovers of Chromebooks.

NOT Anti Glare. And Crashes. – UPDATE after a week: As noted in the original review below, the glossy screen makes this Chromebook very difficult to use in daylight, but I liked the big screen and speaker enough to keep it purely as a streaming system since I do most of my watching at night anyway. But the system crashes constantly while streaming, even when I only have a couple of tabs open in addition to Netflix. With my five-year old Acer Chromebook, I can watch Netflix with no problem with a lot more tabs open. Both systems have the same amount of RAM, and I’ve matched the system settings. There’s just something wrong with this HP Chromebase. Having to reboot 3-4 times to get through one episode of “Lost in Space” is just too much. I’m boxing this system up and sending it back. I was intrigued by this Chromebase configuration, and the design is great, but this system has too many flaws and too little reliability. I’m really bummed. I hope they fix the problems on the next rev. For now, dropping my rating down to 2 stars.
