Good mid range laptop – Purchased this about 10 months ago after comparing the specs of several other laptops. It’s performing well thus far. One shortcoming for me is the lack of backlights on the keyboard and there only 2 USB ports.

Excellent Entry Level Laptop – I am not a computer expert but I have used a number of laptops over the last twenty five years or so but I’m not into the finer points of speed, memory, etc. What I can say is this computer seems entirely adequate for my use which is only for home use now. I use it when saving stuff to thumb drives, etc or saving large files, etc. There are certain websites that require use of a computer vs iPads and smartphones as well. I use my iPhone or iPad 99% of the time simply because the phone is always with me and I prefer the IOS operating system. I did not buy an Apple computer due to price and will no longer buy any Apple product since they are produced in China which is propping up the Russian invasion of Ukraine. This laptop is reasonably fast and easy enough to use. The screen quality is excellent and the battery life is great. I have been using it for about a year now with no problems although I have used it very little relative to my phone.

Auto Switched to Windows 11S on Setup – I selected this laptop specifically because I wanted the Windows 10 Home operating system. I had heard there were problems with Windows 11 and was quite upset when it automatically upgraded to Windows 11 S during the setup process. I had selected another laptop I would have preferred but did not purchase because it had the Windows 11. I was able to change some configurations to a more comfortable format. I am still transferring files, so will need time working with the laptop before I can give an opinion on the stability of Windows 11. The platform takes a little getting used to.

Works Great – My original HP laptop had an issue. Sent it back to HP service and they had some difficulty getting parts. HP service rep worked with me. I bought this as a replacement and HP reimbursed me fully. I’ve had many HP computers, this was my first time interacting with tech support. They were great.
