Good camera but Mac users beware – Everything about the camera is great just one problem. if your using the latest Macs that only have usb c This camera can only be plugged in usb 3.0 directly to the pc. If you use a dongle or any adapter it will not allow you to save any settings when your on the software. You will have to adjust your camera every time you turn on your computer. Trust me the camera doesn’t come looking nice default. you do have to make adjustments.

No auto focus – I have had this camera since Feb and while I do like it, unlike my Kiyo Pro, there is NO auto focus. This amazed me as I just found this out recently. According to Elgato this is a streamer based camera so they removed unneeded functions for streamers. Removing the mic I understand, but it baffles me why they would remove auto focus. I only found this out when taking a proctored exam online and had to show my ID. The Facecam was my main camera I was using. The text was very blurry and made it challenging for them to confirm. So I later tested on my other webcam, and I could see it adjusting the focus. This, in my opinion, is a big miss from Elgato. I think I might just pick up another Razer Kiyo Pro for this reason.

Great when it works – I’m a small Twitch streamer and got this to replace my little $20 webcam I had been using when I was a vtuber. The picture and features are great when it works. You have to use the Elgato Camera Hub and sometimes they don’t recognize each other which causes OBS not to recognize that you’re using the camera. Otherwise great product.
