Appears to be completely new including the battery – First off, I was very surprised removing it from the packaging, because the laptop is extremely light. I use a 5450 (a comparable previous gen Dell model) for work, and that one is way heavier. Second, it looks like no one had ever used or even touched this laptop (though of course it has been, at least for its setup). Third, once I got it up and running I checked the battery health and expected battery life, and the battery appears to be new as well. I saw that some people in their reviews mentioned getting a unit with touch screen, but I didn’t expect that and didn’t receive one, which is fine by me because that’s not in the product description (though that would have been a pretty cool bonus, it’s not necessaryin a laptop anyway).

Great Customer Service – The first laptop had many keys not working. Upon contacting, Niks sent the FedEx return label. Next day I shipped the laptop back, and on the same day they sent another laptop which is working great.

Great device for those wanting a solid business class laptop without spending a lot of money – TL;DR: I have been very impressed with the refurb Dell 7490s and would definitely consider more refurbed laptops from Amazon based on these. Definitely worth the money, in my opinion.

Like New! – I think this laptop is one of the best I’ve ever owned. It’s fast and lightweight, the screen resolution is wonderful and it passed every system diagnostics test I performed on it with flying colors. I purchased my renewed Dell from Micro Deals, and will definitely do so again when the time comes to get another computer. Oh yeah, it’s also got a touch screen! i’m very happy.

False Advertising – Under the specifications, the vendor shows that this specific Dell Latitude 7490 has a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080, but in fact the maximum resolution that this Laptop is able to display is 1366 x 768. When purchasing the laptop I went through all specs and I wanted and chose the 1920 x 1080 resolution Laptop, sadly the vendor does not care about it’s customers. I also think that the original top cover of this laptop might be scratched, because it someone placed a cover that has been taped/glued on top of it, which almost covers the whole top.

Good enterprise device, great seller – The seller is extremely willing to work with you to get issues resolved, and the Latitude line are most all great enterprise devices, with this product standing out as a strong example. Good battery life, good keyboard, solid enough trackpad for when you don’t have a mouse or tablet, and this device has a thunderbolt USB-C port which means it is compatible with most modern docks.
