very nice tablet for the price – First off, the title calls this a kid’s tablet. From what I can tell, the only thing that distinguishes this as a kids tablet is the initial screen picture that comes up when the tablet starts, and the silicone case and carrying handle, all nice things. BTW, the case is pretty easy to take off if you don’t want to use it, but the tablet itself doesn’t not have the thicker plastic body that I’d normally find on a tablet. So, if a kid IS going to use it, I think you’d want him/her to use the case. Otherwise, the tablet seems to be pretty much a standard 7 in Android tablet. I noticed a slight bit of lag at times when starting an app or switching between apps. Nothing that particularly bothered me, but it was noticed. It has the basic apps you pretty much expect to get on an Android tablet, and you can easily add others with a Google or Amazon account, or using F-Droid if you wish. It doesn’t seem like more than a pretty good basic device, and I wouldn’t expect it to survive rough handling or heavy demands on the processor. But if you’re going to listen to music, or go online, or read, that sort of basic thing, it seems like it will be fine.
