      Quality is expensive!! – I tried to go cheap by buying the off-brand compatible toner cartridges. After trying out two of them, the color quality is way off what I expected I was forced to order the OEM toner cartridge. These cartridges cost almost as much as what I paid for the printer but the quality is the best. Hence…quality is expensive!!

      Tried several aftermarket brands but this beats all – After several attempts with different aftermarket brands I suffered from loads of frustration with them. I tried cheap, mid tier and expensive ones. Nothing beats the quality of brand name. One thing I noticed, especially with colors of those is they never match darkness of each color. Even the toner itself looked so light compared to name brand.

      It works but is not worth the money… – While it works well with the printer, better than most. It was way TOO Expensive, and is not worth the price. I would rather take the risk and buy the generic.

      Costs $100 more than the actual printer – Luckily I don’t use this for quality printing because the color sucks. Also 1 set of color cartidges is $100 more than the printer itself and I go through several sets in a year (that’s with printing all my B&W stuff on a separate printer).

      It worth every dollar for genuine toners – I had purchased compatible toner cartridges for the office printer at a lower price, but those non-genuine toners ruined our printer. I spend a lot of time fixing printing issues and cleaning the printer caused by those non-genuine toners . Then I decided to purchase genuine Brother toner cartridges, they are more expensive but worth the money. Printing quality is superb, we’ll see how long they last.

      For quality prints, start with a quality toner! – After experimenting with the cheaper toner cartridges , I finally broke down and admitted that for dependability of their cartridge design and manufacture and the quality of their toner, Brother

We print a lot in our busy office and are spending nearly $200 per month to do so. They work well, and will hopefully keep our printer going for a long time.
