Good gaming laptop for the price – I use a MacBook for work, but most games are only available on windows. I got this to do gaming on the go. This laptop came with windows 10 installed. It boots pretty fast, likely thanks to the SSD. I’m upgrading from an old windows machine that still use the disc drives so it was quite a big difference. The resolution is 1080p, which may seem low compared to my work laptop, but the quality seems comparable. It is a smaller screen at 14” compared to my 17” work laptop. So 1080p is a good res for that size. The Radeon handled my games well so I’m pretty happy with this laptop for under 500. Good value at this price.

Not worth my time and money – Was hopeful but my dreams of a new “gaming” laptop were dashed when only a few hours out of the box I continued to get a windows script error each time it started up. I disabled in task manager but a new OS should not be doing that. Also the screen was flashing black off/on every so often so I returned immediately. Who makes a “gaming” laptop that cannot expand RAM? I don’t care how powerful your CPU is, you need at least 16gb of RAM to sustain low to mid games these days.
