IF YOURE NEW TO APPLE PRODUCTS/BEWARE REFURBISHED – macOS version is big sur and cannot be upgraded to newest version normally. Also I ordered the “Excellent” condition and the speakers blew on day one. It’s not eligible for replacement because it’s refurbished and it’s up to 2 weeks for the refund and another week for delivery. Unfortunately i have to keep it, fortunately I don’t need the speakers, but be wary.

Overall – Not happy – First and foremost before you read this yes I knew it was a used laptop when I purchased it…BUT……there a few problems that have to be addressed with the seller and the product they are selling. First part of the keyboard doesnt work, I had to have it repaired on my own. Second, the battery issue with the laptop, when I got it I plugged it in to to be able to set it up and use within twenty minutes of me unplugging it (at 100%) it had died, it went to sleep. When I tried to turn it back on thinking that it was just the screensaver coming on it wouldnt turn on so I plugged it back in and it came on, the computer gave me a warning that the battery needed to be replaced. I reached out to the seller and they instructed me to send them the bad battery and they would replace it, how am I supposed to do that without taking the laptop apart and possinbly not being able to use it with the battery out. I bought a battery on Amazom and installed it myself no prior experience but it cost me another 75 dollars on top of what I already spent. Third – the software on the laptop when it came to me was Sierra not High Sierra but just Sierra. This is not what the operating system was in the description, after I fought with the laptop and took it to an Apple store they were able to help me update the software on the laptop (again an extra fee that I had to pay) in total of what I spent for the laptop, battery, Apple support, my time it would have been better to just go buy a newer one from Facebook Marketplace or something.
