      Good reconditioned unit, no apparent problems – What’s the “overall rating” supposed to refer to? The product? The job they did reconditioning it? I don’t know. Anyway, 5* to the reconditioning people because the unit arrived clean, ready to go, in good working order.

      Slow and weak performance, scratch and dent at all corner. – Need to spend some extra to upgrade and polish.

      This product is “Vintage” which means, it’s outdated and might not work – I guess it was obvious for the price, but any computer over 5 years old is called “vintage” and likely outdated. I could boot it up, connect to my iCloud and all my files, which is super cool, but there’s an issue causing the sleep time-out system to not work so well and any time the computer goes to sleep, I have to reboot it and then get an error. I guess I could live with that, but I should also probably most likely spend more for a more current machine. Best wishes. It might work for you, but there’s the rub. I get no help taking my personal information off the computer.

      An oldie but goldie, but still an oldie. – It’s an Apple product, so I never expected this to perform great. The mechanical hard drive was a big disappointment. Also – when I got the system it performed very poorly until I upgraded to Mac OS Monterey 12.5 – but the caveat is while overall system performance improved startup seemed a bit slower.

The Mac mini already had Monterey on the system just had to update. I opened the mini to install a SSD PCI (Optional) ,the inside was clean and looked brand new. I was impressed! Would recommend this for a desktop to go along with other Macs, this is my new transport between older peripherals and newer more modern software/hardware.
