Less than a month and it’s… – UPDATED: Amazon contacted me and sent me a replacement which I received today. So far nothing seems wrong with the replacement! Therefore I’m updating my review to 5 stars. 🙂

Happy with my purchase but… – I’m happy with my purchase but I bought this for my daughter to do school apps on only. I bought this back in October and with it be Black Friday I figured I’d upgrade her current play tablet since it’s 40% off. Kind of weird how it’s exactly the same price 40% off as what I paid in October $119.

Like the tablets. Dislike the lack of Setup info for Parental Controls from Amazon. – TL;DR — The tablets are good. Amazon’s interface for setup and for parental controls has not improved since our last experience. I’m a week in to having these in my home and SO irked that the experience hasn’t gotten better in the 4 years since our last Kids+ tablet purchase.

The reviews don’t lie – 100% recommend! This tablet is perfect for kids. I love that it’s a learning tablet with the capability of adding other apps such as Netflix or YouTube if you choose. The setting are wonderful and you can set it so that a certain amount of time has to be dedicated to learning apps for the day before they can open other apps such as games. And you can set it to a specific age range to make sure that the apps recommended/used are specific to your child’s development. I just bought one for my 3 year old because he’s obsessed with the one I bought for my daughter last month. I have him use it for colors/shapes and numbers.

Christmas gifts – Purchased for my 2 daughters age 5 & 7 they love them. Only thing left is to grab screen protectors. I have purchased several Amazon tablets and this one is by far impressive.

Perfect upgrade for my tween! – We have many kids kindles in our home and use them often for games and movies during travel. This was an upgrade for my 11 year old from the Fire HD 8. He loves the larger screen and the excellent picture! The Amazon Kids + is bar far the best value for what you get. Age appropriate games and parental controls including setting time limits or having the ability to pause their middle from your phone if needed. We have added Netflix and Disney for movie downloads with no memory issues; excellent for travel. The only thing I would caution is the case is not as “padded” in my opinion to the smaller options. If you have younger kiddos, this may not be the best choice. As the rest of our kids get older, we will definitely be upgrading them all to this one!
