Have had many Fire tablets and this is good. – We use our Fire tablets for music and reading our Kindle books, as well as watching our streaming services.

Great Value For the Money – I posted a question last week.

Pretty good, expected a little faster tho for hexacore and extra ram – It’s not bad and worth it for reading and streaming and light gaming. I bought it as a bed side reader due to it’s lightness and emulation machine and it has worked well so far. Also has worked well for online coursework. Even sketchbook book can be fun doing some finger painting. There is analog controller support via blue tooth now which is a massive plus

Looks great – I am finding connecting to Alexa difficult. But overall I love the new tablet

The tablet is fine, the software sucks. – I am disappointed in the way that the new software has not arranged my library in a logical manner. When my library downloaded, the books and authors were not sent down in a logical manner, that is at least grouped ab author and the authors arranged alphabetically. They are a jumbled mess and it is difficult to locate books without using the search function and then it will not open with any degree of regularity. I think the hardware is fine, it is the soft heads that write the software that are the problem. It should be a simple matter for the programmers to arrange the authors and their books in a logical manner like authors alphabeically and the books in order of date of publication. At least my earlier Fire HD 8 the authors were alphabetically listed and their books were all under the correct author, The only benefit for this new version of the Fire HD8 is the ability to use a 1 Terabyte micro memory card.

This Fire tablet is fast however I am having software issues – What I don’t like about this Tablet it will not let me log off Amazon Music or any Amazon prime accounts which is bad for me because I would like to take it out of town or to the coffee shop and I can’t risk the chance of someone taking advantage of my account because I can’t log off.

I can hold on to the 8″ HD better, the 10HD great for home use. – Don’t know the battery life yet. I do like the Type C port. Maybe this port won’t wear out as quick.

Bang for the buck – I originally had the 2020 version. It was really sluggish just switching between appts. Long delays on opening APPS. I decided to trade it in for the 2022 refresh. The difference is night and day. It’s snappier and smoother compared to its predecessor. I was able to sideload Google Playstore. Now I have both ecosystem on my Tablet. No noticeable slowdown and delays while switching between apps. I’m primarily using this tablet for streaming on Netflix/Plex and reading on the Kindle. Personally haven’t tried to do any gaming on it. For a sub $60 tablet, it’s perfect for everything I need it to do. Small and portable. The sound is phenomenal for such a cheap tablet. There is no difference in accessories between 2020 and 2022. I was able to reuse my 2020 case on the 2022 tablet as well as the spare glass screen I had lying around. I definitely enjoyed this 2022 tablet compared to the 2020.
