Absolute garbage – This piece of junk stopped working after just four months of use. Just completely bricked. This is common with Chromebooks, but I at least get a couple of years out of them first.

OK – Bought as refurbished from manufacturer; missing charger and had to buy. Had a bug that wouldn’t allow to fully charge; had to reset a couple times… otherwise it has a nice screen and fast enough for the basics. Go with the top end vs the basic.

Good computer – Be aware that this chrome book doesn’t have an HDMI port. I have to buy a dongle to convert USB to HDMI. Otherwise, this is a great computer.

Log into your gmail account and your set. – This Chromebook Is great to write docs stream shows and more. You can leave the Chromebook plugged in and it doesn’t get hot. 2 ucb type c ports on both sides. Headphone combo jack and memory card slot are also available. No hdmi port but you can buy a usb hub and extend the capability.

Shuts down by itself and won’t start up – I liked the chromebook a lot until after 45 days of use it started to shut down by itself, i.e. screen locked up once (restarted after closing top and letting it sit a while) and 2nd time (2 weeks later) it went black and stays dead even though charged. Cannot access battery to remove and replace. Have gone through troubleshooting for power, wifi source, etc and cannot find any cause for this issue. Update: after sitting off for a day, the chromebook now works fine i.e. started up as normal. I read that the lithium batteries in some models can “grow whiskers” internally if discharged too far, battery will automatically turn off i.e. not allow charging, to avoid overheating and even fires. Am wondering if this is what’s going on with my chromebook.
