More or Less Plug and Play for Streaming – This box pretty much comes as a plug and play device for streaming. Very user friendly and well layed out launcher. Apart from adding your internet Wi-Fi and vpn service, you are good to go. The box hardware and processor seem to work well and the operating temperature is in an acceptable range. Very easy to add other apps with the included downloader app and Google Playstore. So far the included IPTV service works ok. IPTV is stable and works well. The remote is responsive and works well. Time will tell if it ends up being worth it but so far, so good.

It’s just OK – Instructions are a tri-fold sheet of paper printed on 2 sides. Website offers a few tips. Operation: Marking “Favorites” not very intuitive. Adult content is inaccessible. Some channels like Pluto freeze. Pros: Excellent picture quality. Cons: Its only Android 9.

Everything on one box to eliminate cable forever. – I was skeptical before I bought the Monsterbox X1 Max, but I’m very pleased with all the content it provides. This box will eliminate my extremely high monthly cable TV bills, plus I’ll be able to watch all the “premium” cable channels (HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, etc.) without the extra cost.

It’s very very fast! – The Monter Box is much much faster than the “Super Box Elite 2” 64.Bit ROM vs 128.Bit ROM no comparison when it comes to speed, however the Monster Box they skimped on the IPTV services it only has 1 IPTV and 1 Vod that’s about it vs the Super Box Elite 2 it has 4 IPTV services and 4 Vods it is a much better bargain by far! If you’re concerned about the Super Box Elite 2 speed don’t worry just do what I did since the Super Box Elite 2 people did not support any upgrades I simply contacted “Mouser Electronics” in TX and purchased my own 256 eMMC ROM chip it was only $40.00 I’m going to take it to our local Bay Area Electronics shop in Daly City CA and have it installed for $39.00 not bad thx.

Does it live up to the hype? – This will be a short review. YouTube has many reviews and those will be more helpful. That said, it absolutely came through on the promises of live television and sports offerings. That alone makes it worth it for me. There is video on demand and it is serviceable and a big plus if you do not have any other streaming service. This includes movies and television, but it will not have the latest movies. If you can be patient, again it is worth it the hefty price. Two downsides… be ready to spend another $30, because the IR remote is awful. Go ahead and buy the Bluetooth remote. If you don’t, you will soon after. The only other issue is I could not get Cyberflix loaded on very well. I admit that may have been me more than the equipment.
