Backlit keyboard leaves much to be desired. – When backlight for keyboard is turned on, the light “leaks” out under all of the keys making it difficult to see the letters on the keys. The only way you can see the letters is if you position your head to look straight down on the keyboard. This is not a comfortable position for typing or viewing the screen.

Be Careful when you purchase – I purchased this to use to run my online shop. I needed a good working computer with lots of hard drive space for photos, and I needed a backlit keyboard because I have to do my work in a room that is fairly dark and the light on the keyboard helps. I ordered a backlit keyboard, but I didnt GET a backlit keyboard. I tried to do a return, but the replacement they sent me did not have a backlit keyboard. Contact with the seller told me that this is a mix up between them and Amazon and that both backlit and regular keyboards were shipped with no identifying marks, so no one knew what was in which boxes. The whole thing blew up into a headache that I didn’t want to deal with, so I settled for taking the first one I was sent. It’s not what I wanted, but it IS what I settled for. Seller DID agree to a $30 refund for the error. Still…not a good experience. Amazon’s Customer support only made it worse.

Super fast computer and exactly as advertised. – Super fast computer and exactly as advertised. I liked the windows 10 photo editing better, it was more simple and effective. The light up keyboard needs to be brighter. I was trying to listen to YouTube audio through the HDMI cable into my TV and through my stereo and as soon as the computer went into sleep mode it stopped inputting audio through the TV and stereo which was annoying.

Product description is not what I received – The shipping box was damaged. It looked like it had been stepped on. The shipping box had no packing material to keep the laptop box from sliding around inside shipping box. It states the keyboard is backlit…..it is not. It sates there is an SD slot – there is not. It does have A and C ports which I needed. The microphone driver was missing. I spent 3 hours on line with first microsoft tech support and the HP tech support to get that issue resolved. The tracking pad is not as shown in the picture.

Do NOT go by picture when ordering! – I ordered this laptop because it shows a CD drive, which it does NOT HAVE. Also on the finger-pad it shows the 2 left & right buttons on the bottom. This does not have those either! Although, so far the laptop is performing okay….. I was very disappointed in the two missing items shown in the picture of the listing!

Changes from Windows 7 to Windows11 were challenging for me and I needed help here with all that. – Stocks & research work fine. More 0ptions than I will ever use. I found necessary setup help I needed thru “Best Buy Geek Squad” at a cost that later proved worth it to me. I didn’t care for mcafee cause I use Norton.

Security of my work. – The only thing I don’t like about this laptop is the location of the power button. It’s located next to the delete button. I would rather have it away from all other keys.
