Works as expected; zero problems – Perfect; no problems. It was in “like new” condition. As another reviewer noted, some people would rather pay more with the option to use Amazon-related credit. Not liking the price of a product isn’t a legitimate reason to give it 1 or 2 stars. I got what I paid for and have zero problems with that.

Who this is for. – The other review touched on the fact the this renewed unit is only $50 off new. Sure, if you had the ability to finance this through Apple or have a credit card with the limit to buy a new Mac Studio that would be the way to go, but not everyone has that option. Your saving $50 on a product that is still extremely new, hasn’t been beat to death over the last 5+ years, and most importantly you have the ability to pay for it with services like Affirm. I mean sure, if I had the mains, I would gladly go buy a new one, a lot of what I do could benefit from the extra power of an M1 max, But I don’t have the credit nor cash to be able to drop it at some time like that.

Buy New for Slightly More – Contrary to another comment on this listing, Affirm allows you to buy from Apple in monthly payments. There are just as many financing options on other storefronts such as Apple and authorized resellers. This price is not a good deal.
