Doesn’t last long eno0ugh for money – This laptop worked great until it it died all of a sudden, with no apparent signs of malfunction, and only after 21 months of usage. For $1000 I would expect this device to last at least 3-4 years. I will contact support to see what my options are but the unresponsiveness of my Lenovo unit doesn’t look promising. I have to find a way now to retrieve my files, as it doesn’t turn on at all (although the power button is lit). So, if you decide to buy this brand and this model, purchase extended warranty.

Ok – Decent, capable but not crazy good. The one I got had something wrong with the battery or software for the battery charging. It was fixed on warranty.

For what it is, it’s satisfactory – The battery life may be mediocre and the screen bleeds and is hard to see at certain angles, but overall, I’m satisfied with this laptop. I use it when I’m travelling and still need to work, and it’s beefy enough to handle compiling code.

But I didn’t realize until it was too late to return that it doesn’t have a camera card slot so I can load photos directly into a folder. I guess they assume everyone has a camera with bluetooth capability.

Screen leaves much to be desired – This is my second Lenovo. I love the computer, the screen on my other Lenovo stopped working and it was past warranty. The screen on that one was far superior to this one. Unless you’re looking at it head on, it’s hard to see.

I don’t want a touch Screen Just a Track Point of the Think Pad – The Track Pointer of the Think Pad is great. I have used this form of a “mouse” for many years and have saved my hand and wrist from damage. Sorry that only Lenovo offers the option.
